5 Full Moon release ceremonies that will leave you feeling renewed and refreshed




A Full Moon ritual or ceremony is a practice that involves harnessing the energy of the Full Moon to set intentions, release what no longer serves you, and align yourself with your goals and desires. Follow these steps to set up for your ceremony:


*Set the intention: Before the Full Moon, take some time to reflect on what you want to release in your life. Write down your intentions, whether they be for healing, abundance, love, or any other aspect of your life you wish to focus on. 

*Create a sacred space: Find a quiet and peaceful space where you can perform your ritual. You may want to light candles, burn incense, or play calming music to help set the mood.

*Cleanse your space: Before you begin, you can cleanse the space and yourself by lighting sage or palo santo to clear any negative energy.

*Connect with the Moon: Go outside under the Full Moon, if possible, or simply gaze at the Moon through a window. Take a few deep breaths and visualize yourself absorbing the Moon's energy.


Full Moon Rituals and Ceremonies:


1. RITUAL BATH: Take a purifying bath by adding salts or herbs to the water, such as lavender or sea salt. As you soak, visualize all negative emotions, energies, or burdens being washed away and released into the water. Once you feel ready, pull the plug and visualize all that no longer serves you being drained away.


2. BURN CEREMONY: Write down on a piece of paper any negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, or things you wish to release. Safely light a fire, either in a fireplace or a fire pit, and as you burn the paper, visualize those things being transformed and released into the flames. Allow the fire to symbolize the letting go and releasing of what weighs you down.


3. RELEASE MEDITATION : Find a quiet and comfortable space to sit in meditation. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. As you inhale, imagine breathing in light and positive energy, and as you exhale, visualize releasing and letting go of any emotions or energies that no longer serve you. With each breath out, imagine those toxins and burdens leaving your body and dissipating into the universe.


4. OUTDOOR RELEASE RITUAL: Take a walk outside during the full moon and find a spot that speaks to you—a beach, a park, or even your own backyard. Stand under the moonlight and feel its energy surrounding you. Hold an object, such as a stone or a leaf, and transfer all that you wish to release into it. Then, energetically release it by tossing it into a body of water, burying it in the earth, or simply letting it go and watching it drift away in the wind.


5. SOUND HEALING RELEASE: Use sound as a means of release by utilizing singing bowls, bells, or even your own voice. Find a quiet space and begin by taking a few deep breaths to center yourself. As you sound the instrument or vocalize, imagine the vibrations penetrating through any energetic blockages, loosening and releasing them. Allow the sound to carry away any negative emotions or stuck energy, creating space for new and positive energy to enter.


Remember, full moon release ceremonies are highly personal, so feel free to adapt these ideas or create your own ceremonies and rituals that resonate with you. The key is to set a clear intention to let go and release what no longer serves you during this potent lunar phase.
